Another English class exercise
Bueno, pues tuve que escribir esta semana un pequeño cuento como ejercicio de clase, en inglés. El cuento debía de empezar con las palabras "It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang."
Me gustó lo bastante como para copiarlo aquí.

«It was three o'clock in the morning when the phone rang. That was the third time it rang in the past two hours. They had been calls from different people I didn't know and both were wrong number calls. Some girl ordering a pizza (with mushrooms, pineapple and double amount of anchovies) and a guy calling an erotic line asking for Priscilla's special service. The most annoying part was that each time the phone had sounded in that exact moment when I was getting happily slept again. Who could be now? I looked at the screen and it was another unknown number. I canceled the call. Ten minutes after, another ring. The same number. I replied.
"Yes? Juan speaking" I said.
"This is the Grim Reaper. Sorry, but because of the crisis we don't have enough staff to visit personally everyone who is going to die and yes, you are going to..."
I threw the phone by the window. For some reason I knew that he wasn't lying. But it had been a long day and I just wanted to go back to sleep. Hell could wait.»
