CYBOOK OCEANIn early November, Bookeen will launch the Cybook Ocean, with a large reading surface and extra-thin 7mm design! After 10 years developing 5 and 6″ readers, here comes the first Cybook with a large, 8″ screen, comparable to a paper book page, with a resolution of 768 x 1024px. This format provides a reading surface 79% larger than that of a standard 6″ reader, excellent for comfortably reading pdf documents, mangas or press for example.Bookeen’s R&D worked to optimise the Ocean’s design, to provide the best reading comfort in a highly portable object; the Cybook Ocean is exceptionally thin at just 7mm.The super-thin flat profile nonetheless integrates a new version of the FrontLight technology already crowned with success on the Cybook Odyssey. Read comfortably in all light conditions, from bright sunlight to a dark room. With 4Go of internal memory, the Cybook Ocean can hold close to 4000 books, and more than 36,000 on a memory card thanks to the microSD port. As for content, the Cybook Ocean comes pre-loaded with more than 100 books, in English, Italian, German, Spanish, and French, so you can start reading right away.Like all the Cybooks, the Cybook Ocean offers a record autonomy: read without worrying about recharging for up to 10 weeks. The Cybook Ocean will be available early November for around 160€ in stores, making it a very attractive large-format offer. We’ll provide more information about the Cybook Odyssey FrontLight and the Cybook Ocean, including photos and more technical details, in the coming days, so stay tuned!
Tiene muy buena pinta, aunque me gusta más el Onyx Boox t68, pero habrá que ver que tal las disponibilidades de uno y otro.
Más madera!! :p
