Version of
firmware can be restored with full backup/restore procedure ONLY! It is written in special place in your
flash memory by Sony when
firmware is installed. However restoration procedure should return jailbreak on the device - no matter what version you see. And in regards with software there is no difference between 1.0.04 and 1.0.05 - so AMR should work on 1.0.05...
Thanks... rupor...
To be sure...when you say "restoration procedure", I suppose you mean installing borodas's package to recover ability to Boot from SD.
But he has already installed it... because his device wasn't a "virgin" one... He had already jailbraked it before...
Now, is he supposed to install AMR on 1.0.05?
But AMR package doesn't install because of the version...
Código:
if /I "%%a" NEQ "1.0.04.11081" if /I "%%a" NEQ "1.0.01.11080" (
echo Device has unsupported firmware version %%a
goto :failure
)
echo Device has supported firmware version %%a
goto :continue
Should he modify the script and install AMR?
Thanks!
